Buongiorno!

OLPC - One Laptop Per Child (Un laptop per bambino http://laptop.org) ha bisogno di dizionari in tutte le lingue per il suo progetto. Stiamo cercando persone che vogliono prendersi il tempo per tradurre 10 parole e le relative definizioni dall'inglese alla loro lingua + controllare quello che è già online.

Incollo qui di seguito il contenuto del file originale con il quale cerchiamo persone disponibili. Chi avesse la possibilità di affissare una stampa del file presso le univesità o in un altro posto adeguato può richiedere il pdf per la stampa (che ha un layout migliore) direttamente da me. Ovviamente sarebbe anche bello se ci aiutereste a raggiungere altre persone in gruppi ch noi non conosciamo.

Siamo interessati in tutte le lingue in quanto il progetto si rivolge a tutti i bambini/ragazzi. Vi prego di non pensare solo alle lingue solite, ma anche a tutte quelle africane, indiane ecc.

	A Multilingual Dictionary for the Children of our World

 

WiktionaryZ (http://wiktionaryz.org) is a project developing an open content dictionary in every language of the world, working with the University of Bamberg to identify relevant word lists and develop needed applications.  (info: http://www.uni-bamberg.de/)  We are specifically working on a dictionary for children, to be included on the OLPC laptops.

 

One Laptop Per Child [OLPC] is an initiative to mass-produce ultra-low-cost ($100), durable laptops and to distribute them throughout the world to improve education for millions of children.  The laptops are a unique learning tool, created expressly for children living in the world's most remote environments.

 

 

You can help

 

Donate a few minutes of work to improve the translations and definitions of 10 words.  By contributing a bit of time you can reach out to millions of children in the world.
