Il nostro manifesto sul sito liberale www.Topica.com in America è considerato troppo radicale?  Forse “insurrezionalista?”

Sono ormai settimane che si chiede instancabilmente alla proprietà che esso appaia nella directory dei gruppi; abbia insomma una visibilità anche per gli utenti americani di internet. Continuiamo invece a ricevere, oltre ai messaggi pubblicitari, solo risposte evasive, ripetitive e garbatamente ironiche. Questa è la democrazia americana, così liberale da risultare liberticida anche nei confronti di un misero foglio qual è “Ecumenici”.  (A proposito il tacchino di Bagdad – secondo un noto quotidiano della capitale USA- era solo una finzione architettata per i prossimi spot elettorali del petroliere Bush J. Non è stato mangiato da nessuno e non per una scelta vegetariana!)

Pensiamo che solo attraverso la pressione di un numero considerevole di adesioni potremmo raggiungere l’obbiettivo. L’America non è purtroppo quella liberal di San Francisco ma semmai quella dove è stato eletto un Presidente, pur avendo meno voti del suo avversario Al Gore. Non dimentichiamolo.

This is a ML for an interdenominationalist Christian-Jew friendship, inspired to Leonhard Ragaz, a Swiss evangelic pastor. A brief presentation would be  appropriate before yr subscrition. This is an information and educational Italian newsletter which will be sent to different Christian and Jew believers who confront each others in peacefull way and belong to different Churches or Temples and different countries but have a common will to come together along the hard path of ecumenism. In the outlook of the “universal priesthood of believers” we wonder chiefly how live the Faith, promote Peace and Justice and protect the Creation.

The “new ecumenical orientations” is opened to dialogue and confrontation with other existing confessions and with non-believers. It has been established in 1999, it doesn’t receive any funds from parties or religious associations and it allows Jew believers to take part to its initiatives by written participation.

It publishes articles in French and English besides a wide range of press release documents of different no- profit organizations linked to our group.
