Our Summer Camp (23.07. - 08.08) offers the most comprehensive
insight into our work.
Open Sundays (from March until August): Visitors are welcome to drop
in for a short visit between 3 pm and 6 pm. The meeting point is the
pub,
where a guided tour of the site starts at 3pm.
LIVING AND WORKING TOGETHER
Working during events: We welcome the support of guests and friends
during the larger events and conferences in ZEGG. Please contact
Reception well in advance if you want to help out and take part for a
reduced

The Action Weeks (see below) provide an opportunity to stay and work
in ZEGG free of charge.
During the Summer Guest periods (06.06.-23.07. and 08.08.-29.08.)
we invite interested guests and friends from our network to support and
work with us in one of our work teams (kitchen, garden, site crew or

During the Action Weeks the focus is on communal work. The work

EVENTS AND CONFERENCES AT ZEGG
EASTER - TRANCE - EVENT
dance – celebrate - expand your horizons
Dance is one of the simplest ways to celebrate life.
Trance-Dance's most important aspect is the chance
to gain new inner experiences and
expand your inner boundaries.
Trance raises the normal levels of intelligence,
memory, creativity and vitality
and together we want to make use of
this state to think new thoughts,
birth new ideas and meet new people.
For two days we will prepare us
with teachings, talks and movements
for this special night and then
to 'dance them in' through into Easter Sunday.
Then we will integrate all these new 'resurrecting'
experiences using rituals, ceremonies and consciousness work.
Arrival: Thursday, 8. April from 15:00
Departure: Monday, 12. April from 13:00
Limited participant numbers, please book early.
Concept and Coordination: Christiane Mrozek, Simone Kanne, Juergen Bolz
Cost: € 250.-
Youth price (up to 22 years): € 125.-
WHITSUN FESTIVAL
Workshop for Politics and Vitality
28th May to 2nd June
* 5 days experience of community
* 5 days to get in contact with our creative potential
* 5 days together thinking about how to make a different world
At Whitsun a mix of professional workshops and self-organised spaces
will help
to create a huge living studio with dance, music, theatre and other
arts.
This will enable an intensive, creative exploration of questions
surrounding
individuals and community, whilst at the same time serving as a meeting
of
various genres.
With live music, parties, a children’s camp, open stage, volleyball,
men’s and
women’s spaces, tent villages and lots more …
Cost: € 295.-, €125.- up to the age of 22.
SUMMER CAMP 2004
ANOTHER LIFE IS POSSIBLE
July 23rd – August 8th
The Summer Camp is a meeting place for people who are
working towards a future worth living. For us it is the central
event of the year and it offers a rich insight into the living
experiment that is ZEGG. We will dedicate ourselves to working
on our personal and political visions and the practical
experience of cooperation and trust.
For us, community means: collecting and increasing our
strengths; creating the building blocks for a society based on
solidarity; expressing ourselves and being aware of other
people; making our gifts available to others; supporting and
being supported.
On the first two weekends, as in previous years, ZEGG speakers
and invited guests will present insights into our research. During
the week the focus will be on the intensive groups which create
a temporary community and thus the chances for our guests’
interests to shape each day’s program. Each group is
accompanied by a team of ZEGG members.
The fundaments for all the groups:
* morning attunement * men’s and women’s spaces * sharing circle /
plenary *
* * cultural activities in the evening: music, dance, theatre *
Children’s
Camp
Cost: € 610.- for 16 days, € 365.- for 8 days
Up to the age of 22: € 280.- for 16 days, € 155.- for 8 days

SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
LOVE AND COMMUNITY
12.08. – 19.08.2004
We will study the nature of love in all its various aspects and put it
in its
spiritual and communal context. A new concept for love needs a spiritual
base as well as personal growth and self empowerment. Love is not
something that happens to us, but something we can learn and study.
What kind of communication do we need in order to free love and
sexuality from fear and distrust? Is it possible to get rid of jealousy?
We
invite you to come and experience the energy of our community lifestyle
for one week. We will assist you in finding your steps towards new
patterns of love and trust. We will share with you our practical
knowledge
about spirituality, love and life in community. The course will be in
English, but we also invite non-native speakers to participate.
Ina Meyer-Stoll und Achim Ecker
Cost: € 377.- (€ 193.- KG + € 184.- U&V)
LOVE IS A SOCIAL WORK OF ART
19.05. – 23.05.
Many of us have experienced that love and erotic attraction don’t limit
themselves to one person. At the same time we want to nurture intimate
and committed relationships. In order to bring both together, we need a
wider view of love, its position, clear forms of communication and a
‘social work of art’. Together we will research and find a way to
express
the fine and the passionate sides of love, the female and male views on
it
all and the voice of our own heart. We invite you to participate if you
have
been considering ‘liberated love’ and if you see the modelling of your
way of loving as being a societal challenge.

LOVE, PARTNERSHIP, EVERYDAY MATTERS?
A Weekend for Couples
12.11. – 14.11.2004 (Start: Friday, 15:30)
If a man and a woman want to live out a long term love relationship, how
can they talk to each other openly, directly and from their hearts? How
can they shape a life which allows both individual personality and love
to
grow and mature? How can this intimacy be lived out with children? We
want to explore these questions in a group of couples, finding paths to
truth and trust and learning from each other.
Christiane Mrozek and Robert Heeß
Cost: € 180.- (€ 99.- KG + € 81.- U&V)
SING FOR YOUR SOUL
23.04. – 25.04.2004
The voice is the soul’s muscle. With this thought in mind we want to let
our soul express itself – through energetic singing and profound
silence,
in a communal sound-space and with individual melodies, celebrating
the joy of life together. Our body is our instrument and we’ll be paying
it
special attention through movement-, breath- and voice-exercises. Our
musical material will include songs from a variety of cultures. For
example, mantras will help us to harmonise our inner state. In a simple
way we will grow together to form a choir.
Detlef Pillat and Barbara Stützel
Cost: € 160.- (€ 82.- KG + € 78.- U&V)
SING AND DRUM TOGETHER
27.06. – 04.07.2004
We’ll be singing Native American and African songs from the two
COME TOGETHER SONGS CDs and learning to accompany them on
the drum. You are invited to take part in rhythm work with vocals and
movement, as well as energetic drumming and singing within ritually
formed spaces – a musical community experience of perception, contact
and communication. Please bring a Djembe or Conga with you (drums
are available to lend by prior arrangement: ( 59550)
Hagara Feinbier and Thomas Ritthoff
Cost: € 377.- (€ 193.- KG + € 184.- U&V)
MUSIC AND LIFE ENERGY
12.08. – 19.08.2004
Rhythm and song are easy ways to get our life energy flowing again. Our
program will include part songs and mantras, a meditative rhythm
experience with voice and movement, overtone singing, and an
introduction to the harmonic way the world is constructed and ideas for
establishing a non-violent and life-energy based culture, from Wilhelm
Reich and others.
Hagara Feinbier and Hartwig Höne
Cost: € 377.- (€ 193.- KG + € 184.- U&V)
THE ART OF MOVEMENT – DANCE YOURSELF
11.08. – 19.08.2004
We’ll be looking at the stories, myths and life issues which are stored
in
our body, working with the LIFE/ART® Process from Anna Halprin which
links dance and movement with the intuitive painting of inner pictures
and creative writing. The key concept here is to let your inner self
guide
your movement: we will be making use of inspiration from
contactimprovisation,
action theatre, Butoh and more. To cast light on the wider
human context of our personal issues we will also accompany this with
Forum, a ritualised form of communication for community.
Zula N. Hoffmann and Sucha Wolters
Cost: € 408.- (€ 202.- KG + € 206.- U&V)
