This is a long and important message providing you with
a lot of vital information concerning the 15th edition of
Paganello, 8th Acrobatic Paganello, the 2005 edition: Il Cielo e' sempre piu' Blu (The Sky is bluer and bluer).

a) Glossary---------------------------
accommodation option (also indicated simply as 'accommodation'):
the package including everything and referring to a specific hotel category
player's fee: the amount of money each player has to pay according
to the chosen accommodation option
no accommodation option: the package including everything except for
the hotel and the breakfasts
non-player (guest): a person who pays and gets everything except for
the "food&drink" tickets [see item d)], and who does not play
extra night: a night not included in the 5 nights included in the 5-day package. You can reserve these nights (before and/or after Paga) through us, but you have to pay them directly at the hotel.
The Mon-Tue night is not an extra-night.
You get this night, by choosing the 5-day package (which also includes a 5th party that people not getting this package have to pay).
So you will have the chance to choose among 3 different options/packages:
a) no accommodation package
b) 4-night package (ordinary option)
c) 5-night package
City Of Paga: the place on the Beach where the Miracle will take place. Because we believe in miracles.
the Beach: a place on the boundary between reality and imagination, where you can dance together with the paradoxes of life, that are life itself.
b) Basic Steps---------------------------
You are now given the chance to choose among
7 (seven) accommodation options/packages, which differ for the quality of the breakfast and of the hotel only.
1) choose the option you prefer, i.e. basically which kind of hotel everyone of you wants to stay at.
2) fill in the excel file (Reservations.xls) that you find attached to
the present message and send it back to us (this is the email address to use: (daniela@...).
3)*fax us the receipt of the payment by March 4th*
to confirm you transferred the money, stating clearly
your name and any other information for
understanding which payment the fax is referring to.
Fax number available at item j).
You can also email the jpg of the receipt.
Please note that your reservations will become definitive only when
we get your fax-receipt: no receipt, no reservation.
Everything will be managed on a *"first come, first served"* basis.
c) Deadlines----------------------------------------------------
A) After March 4th (i.e.: we don't get your receipt by this day):
-any payment will be penalized at a rate of 10% of each single player's fee.
-a player withdrawing from the tournament will receive a refund of 75% of the player's fee paid.
-any player can be replaced by another one without losing any money after proper communication of the names of
the two persons involved.
B) After MARCH 11th
(i.e.: if we don't get your receipt by this day):
-any payment (including those made at the tournament) will be
penalized at a rate of 30% of each single player's fee
-we cannot guarantee to arrange accommodation anymore.
-a player withdrawing from the tournament will
receive a refund of 30% of the player's fee paid.
In case this player has to drop out because of an injury,
she/he will receive a refund of 50% of the player's fee paid.
-it is not possible anymore to replace a player with another one.
d) Important Details--------------------------------------------
*Very important*: each option includes also 10 "food&drink" tickets [each ticket is worth 1.1 Euro]. With these tickets you can get food
(pasta, rice salads, cakes, etc.) and drinks at the fields.
These tickets are *not* refundable, whereas
those on sale on the Beach will be refunded in case you won't use them.
Reservations will be accepted from the contact-person (thanks again!) only.
Dinner will not be available this year.
Saturday and Sunday parties will be held in different places with respect to last year and out of five parties, only one will not be at walking distance from the hotels (Paga-buses will be available and we will take care of providing a better service than last year)
We would be very grateful to you if you could pay all at once.
This would make things easier for both you and us.
If making one single payment is either too complicated or/and
too expensive (e.g. you would have to collect money of
people from different places), you can make different bank transactions,
provided that we get a clear fax for *each single* transaction.
The excel file containing all your names and accommodation details
must be one and one only! [see also item i)]
single rooms cost about 20% more (according to
which specific hotel you want to stay) and are *very few*.
If you need a single room, please ask me before making the reservation
you can also specify which kind of room you want to
sleep in (double, 3-bed, 4-bed, single).
[you don't need to specify who wants to sleep with whom, but only (optional) the number of double/triple/etc. rooms you need]
Double room means a room with a matrimonial bed.
As general indication, the more multiple rooms (triples and quadruples) you need, (i.e. the less rooms you need for a given number of people), the more are the chances to stay in the requested hotel.
Of course, a quadruple room is not as comfortable as a double.
We cannot guarantee these specific requests will be satisfied, but we will do our best!
However, the sooner you pay, the more are
your chances to get exactly what you want.
The hotels in Italy are not similar to American ones (example) where you can book a room and squeeze as many people as you want into it
The hotels count how many people enter each room.
You pay for the people, not for the rooms.
Hotels falling under the same option are not exactly the same, but
the differences are very slight.
The four nights
included in each accommodation option are:
1) Thu (March 24th)-Fri
2) Fri-Sat
3) Sat-Sun
4) Sun-Mon (March 28th)
On Monday night a big, last, farewell, got-nothing-to-lose party is scheduled (included in the 5-day package)
We are responsible for the hotels towards you, but
we are also responsible for your behavior towards the hotels and
every year we have problems: frisbee players don't have a very good
reputation among the Rimini hotels and this is not good for Paganello and
Beach Ultimate in general. People sleeping on the floor or getting breakfasts in hotels where they are not staying, etc. Because of this behaviour, we will be forced to make fewer exceptions and being less flexible this year, concerning the rooms arrangement, for example.
Please *respect* the hotels!!
e) Prices-------------
Each option includes:
-4 days of : top Fun, pure Sport, endless Spirit
-10 food&drink tickets for getting food and drink at the Beach, which are worth 1.1 Euro each, so the fees mentioned below are actually 11 Euro lower.
-4 Parties: Huge Welcoming Beach-Party on Thursday Night featuring:
Beach-Music, Beach-Dancing, Beach-Shows,
Grilled Fish ('Saraghina'), 'Bruschetta',
Volcanic Spaghetti 'aglio&olio', local Red Red Wine,
Moon Swimming, Sweet Love and much more.
(spaghetti, fish and wine are all included in the fee)
*More Parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
-4 Nights in hotel (players will have the chance to choose from 1-star 'till 4-star)
-4 Breakfasts (except for the Fiore option: see below)
-all facilities at the Beach (free water on the fields, email, first aid, food&drink point, merchandising tent, nursery, stands, event area, scorekeepers, daily newsletter, tournament magazine, etc.)
-1 Paga-Gift
-<Freestyle International Competition> (8th Acrobatic Paganello)
-attending the World's Greatest Party

From about mid-March until the end of April, the weather in Rimini is
very changeable, so it can be cold at the end of April and hot one month before or vice versa.
So, as usual, if you don't want to run any risk, an hotel with heating is recommended.

You can also choose the no-accommodation option and
you will get everything except for hotel and breakfasts.
This option is 110 Euro.
The cost of the 5-day package (5 parties) for the no-accommodation option is 115 Euro
f) Discounts--------------------------------------------
*Discount for non-players (they get everything except for the
the "food&drink" tickets): 40 Euro
*Discount for children
0-3 years -> free
4-11 years -> discount: 65 Euro
Therefore the total discount for a 4/11-years-not-playing-child is 105 Euros
*Discount for freestyler
10 Euro for each player (because they’ll not recive the Video of Paganello, reserved to Ultimate Team)
There is no discount for people arriving late and/or leaving earlier and no discount for people not attending the parties (sorry, honestly it is too complicated to handle this issue)
On the excel sheet, you have to indicate yor name and your
reserving place.
This is for allowing us to check that all the players actually present on the field are regularly registered.
h) Extended Paganello and Extra Nights---------------------
This year a 5-day package will also be available. This package includes everything the ordinary package includes plus a fifth night (Mon-Tue) and a fifth party (Mon).
We can arrange your accommodation also in case you want to arrive before the tournament and/or leave on Wed.
We can reserve these extra-nights for you, but *you have to pay them at the hotel directly*
