ebbene sì, non ho ancora finito di lavare le cose del Campionato Mondiale di Berlino e del torneo di Colonia, e già sono qui a pensare al ROVENTE Settembre che ci attende.

    Voglio ringraziare pubblicamente Tom Leitner per l'aiuto che ci sta dando nell'organizzazione del prossimo "European Freestyle Championship 2006".
    E' stato lui l'autore del sito internet dell'evento:
    dove si possono trovare tutte le info del torneo.
    E sono suoi i lavori grafici del logo del torneo, locandine, flyers, magliette e dischi.
    Grazie di cuore !!!
    Di seguito c'è anche la sua mail (in inglese) che riguarda la sistemazione al Camping Internazionale di Castefusano (proprio di fronte allo stabilimento Corallo Beach), dove si svolgerà l'evento il 2 e 3 Settembre prossimo.
    A tal proposito, non aspettate l'ultimo minuto ... la disponibilità non è infinita, perchè è sicuramente la sistemazione + comoda ed economica che ci sia !!!
    L'iscrizione all'Europeo è di 20 euro e comprende maglietta e disco dell'evento + una sorpresa x tutti i partecipanti !!!

    Hello Jammers,

    If you are planning to stay in a bungalow you
    need to reserve your bungalow now. (see the info
    below)

    We highly reccommend staying at castelfusano
    during the EFC...there are bungalows and tent
    camping available walking distance from the event
    site. Many of the Roman players will be camping
    there as well since the event, parties and
    dinners will all be happening at or very near
    Corallo Beach - so, by staying at castelfusano we
    wont have to leave the beach all weekend!

    Camping

    Tent camping is available for 7,50 € for each
    adult, plus 3,60 € for each tent.

    So if you have 2 adults with one tent it would
    cost about 10 € per night per person.

    (Children are 5,00 € night and a Car is 4,00 €)

    Ciao, scusatemi vado di fretta…

    Purtroppo mi sono accorto di aver sbagliato la data di termine iscrizioni…

    In realtà le iscrizioni mi servono entro domenica 2 luglio per inviarle lunedì 3 luglio.

    Spero non ci siano problemi per i ritardatari.. al massimo aspetterò lunedì 3 luglio sera ad inviare le iscrizioni.

    Comunque vi prego di farvi sentire anche sabato magari, piuttosto che lunedì!

     

    Una bella news… grazie a big chef Paolo stiamo cercando di impostare una mensa freestyler per i pranzi

    e le cene, in modo da poter risparmiare un pochetto e mangiare cose un po più sane.

     

    Tra pochi giorni dovremmo vedere anche una locandina sul sito ufficiale, a presentare l’evento.. non è mai troppo tardi :D

    Venerdì mattina si parte per il circeo per frisbare a tutto gas !!!
    Pernotto al campeggio "Marelago", già testato positivamente negli anni passati.
    Per chi vuole solo fare solo una "frisbata e fuga" saremo nei pressi della spiaggia del campeggio tra lo stabilimento Lilandà e Le streghe fino al tramonto di domenica.
    In attesa delle conferme sempre a tutto gitis !!!

    Ciao a tutti !!!
    Volevo avvertire la comunità dei fristailers italiani che all'indirizzo:
    ho appena finito di aggiornare la classifica italiana !
    Ho notato che sono usciti di classifica (perchè non partecipano da almeno due anni a tornei ufficiali) diversi nomi di giocatori illustri con i quali sinceramente mi rifarei una bella frisbata: Simone Caliento, Carlo Sestieri, Marco Ruperto e Luca Gagliardi da Roma. Cristiano Erriu da Roseto e Maurizio Ranieri da Milano.
    In compenso le nuove leve vengono su a tutto gas e fanno progressi incredibili sia in classifica che, soprattutto, dal punto di vista tecnico e di gioco.
    Altra osservazione: 102 jammers su poco meno di 500 (in tutto il mondo) sono italiani e siamo in 27 tra i primi 100 !!!
    Per qualsiasi commento, segnalazione etc. fatevi sentire !
    Colgo l'occasione per confermare l'appuntamento per i prossimi Campionati Europei di Roma al Corallo beach ( www.corallobeach.it se volete dare un'occhiata alla spiaggia con le webcam ... ) dal 1 al 3 Settembre 2006.

    siamo felici ri ricevere commenti!!!
     
    Avremo ben 3 divisioni quest'anno a Podersodrf per tutti i livelli: INTERMEDIATE (single), OPEN PAIRS e la grande novita' di quest'anno una OPEN CO-OP. Cosi' non ci sono piu' scuse di non aver avuto modo di provare bene le nostre mosse in preparazione ai mondiali di Berlino ;-)) !!
     
    Spero di vedervi tutti (ma prorpio TUTTI) in 2 settimane sul lido di Podersdorf, ma per poter ottenere tutti i vantaggi che siamo riusciti a ricevere dall'organizazione dei mondiali di Wind Surf Freestyle, dovete registrarvi per tempo!

    11 days and Paganello will start.
     
    11 days before the competitions, parties, piadine, beer, wine, sand, wind, I'm very happy to announce that, for now, I have 57 freestylers will play on the mithical red carpet.
     
    Maybe more.
     
    11 days before our Easter appointment, I read your names, and try to do a schedule perfect for you, because I want you play a lot.
     
    With a so big number of players, I will must change something in the schedule, and probably we will play the saturday morning too...
     
    I'm shure all you will help me, and no-one will forget music, or go out before competition, or "ops! sorry Lui I havent my CD, my partners, I need a t-shirt, where is the table, I dont want to do judge, I want play before night, after lunch, my music start at trace nr.1, 10"  of trace 2 and 23" of trace 23..."
     
    I'm shure all you will help me, and you will be at meeting players, friday morning, so I can have the complete schedule in few minutes and not late...
     
    I'm shure all you will help me to have a great competition, with a lot of positive energy and feeling, or at the end of the  Paganello I will be like a panther:
    the first panther eat freestylers for dinner.

    At the right you will see the "x".
    If a player has a partner in open division, he has an "X" in open, if he has partners in co.op. he has in "X" in coop.
    If he has partner for both categories he has "X" in open and coop too.
    The players without "X" dont have comunicated to me their partners or if he/she need a partners.

    Ciao a tutti.
    Questo Paganello sta prospettandosi come il più incredibile in assoluto, con ben 57 iscritti a tutt'oggi e solo 3 o 4 di questi da confermare.
    Praticamente 2 persone in più del mondiale del 2004...
    per cui, gentilmente, vi prego di aiutarmi in ogni modo, con la puntualità innanzi tutto, con la precisione nel portarvi dietro la musica, i vestiti, nel presentarvi al tavolo delle giurie quando sarete chiamati, eccetera.
    Dato il numero mostruoso di iscritti, è probabile che giocheremo anche il sabato mattina, cercherò comunque di cominciare verso tarda mattinata affichè possiate riposarvi dai bagordi....
     
    Vi assicuro che sono estremamente felice di come stanno andando le cose, ma anche preoccupata, perchè vorrei che tutti voi foste felici e trovaste, nel Paganello la giusta armonia, divertimento, feeling.
     
    Ed è per questo che, ancora una volta, VI PREGO di inoltrarmi i vostri team, se già composti, in modo che riesca ad avere lo schedule di gioco con anticipo. Guardate anche le liste che ho scritto e ditemi subito se ci sono degli errori.

    I remember you the deadline for Paganello 2006 is TOMORROW!
    If you dont want pay "more" and dont want have some "bad surprise" about hotels....
     
    A lot of freestylers will be at Baltic Hotel,and there are some free rooms still, in this hotel.

    for those who haven't made their reservation yet,

    As some of you may know, last December Jumpi and other 3 players from Rimini went to Africa (Zambia) to
    teach children to play frisbee. It was a wonderful experience.
    And it was just some kind of exploration for checking if it is possible to do more, i.e. to organize people going there
    for one week and teach kids in exchange of food, a place to stay and, above all, to live a real rewarding experience.
    Frisbee is our "talent", it is what we can do and, above all, is what we can give and
    the children are the same in Africa as in Europe: they wanna play!

With time-freestyle is fantastic to create a tournement schedule.
Every year I have the same idea: Freestylers live in a different world.
Where time is determinate from the wind, the weather, the sand and the
jam....

Sooooooooooooooooo, at 1 mounth at Paganello I have:
40 freestylers " yes, uh? maybe! oh! I must prenote? wow! great, tomorrow,
yesterday, what?"

    just like last year, the classic Saturday night party will be held at the big Circus tent right at the Beach.

    In this troubled times for our world, where differences seem to be too often reasons of problems and conflict,
    Paganello needs to do something for raising the level of tollerance and brotherhood of the Planet.
    And our support will be to exorcize all of this!
    So this year's party theme will be: National Stereotypes

    Everyone is invited to dress or generally look like the usual, typical, old, classic, exaggerated stereotype of a given country.
    So, for example, if you choose to be a Mexican, you should wear a sombrero, a poncho, drink tequila, etc. if
    if you dress like an American, you may look as a cow-boy, if you want to be an African, just come naked with a bone in your nose, etc.
    The important thing is to exaggerate, but just try not to be too offensive...

    One world is enough for all of us!
    But we love one world made of different ones!
    (probably I will be a big pizza. Lui pizza. you will can dance "aroud" me!
    or a Veneziana- carneval-girl. With a fashion dress.....mmmhhhhh.....

    chi già sa di venire al Paganello, e conosce la propria "formazione", può gentilmente mandarmi un messaggio?
    Come al solito devo decidere i tempi per le competizioni, ed anche vedere se qualcuno è "single", in modo da saperlo per tempo ed "accoppiarlo"...

    the fee, for freestylers competitors AND no-players too (freestyler dont want compete but want to have the facilities and the parties, gift, ecc., girl-friend, boy-friend, mom, father, sister, lover, ecc....;)  ) is the same: 45 Euro. (and only for FREESTYLE! no Ultimate!)
     
    IT'S THE NO-ACCOMODATION OPTION (NO HOTEL!)
     
    The 45 euro (no accomodation option) includes:
     

    4 Parties: Huge Welcoming Beach-Party on Thursday Night featuring:
          Beach-Music, Beach-Dancing, Beach-Shows,
          Grilled Fish ('Saraghina'), 'Bruschetta',
          Volcanic Spaghetti 'aglio&olio', local Red Red Wine,
          Moon Swimming, Sweet Love and much more.

    Glossary---------------------------
    accommodation option (also indicated simply as 'accommodation'):
    the package including everything and referring to a specific hotel category

    player's fee: the amount of money each player has to pay according
    to the accommodation option he/she chooses

    5-day package: the package including 5 nights and 5 parties (Thu thru Mon)

    4-day package: the package including 4 nights and 4 only (Thu thru Sun]

    no accommodation option: the package including everything except for
    the hotel and the breakfasts and food ticket.

    non-player (guest): a person who pays and gets everything the players get, but who does not play

     extra night: a night not included in the 5 nights of the 5-day package.
    You can reserve these nights (before and/or after Paga) through us, but you have to pay them to the hotel directly.
    Important: the Mon-Tue night is not an extra-night.
    You get this night, by choosing the 5-day package (which also includes a 5th party that people not getting this package will have to pay).

    City Of Paga: the place on the Beach where everything will be happening again


    b) Basic Steps---------------------------
    You can choose among 6 (six) accommodation options/packages, which differ for the quality of the breakfast and of the hotel only.

    1) choose the option you prefer, i.e. basically the kind of hotel
    Three different options/packages are available:
    a) no accommodation package
    b) 4-day package (ordinary option)
    c) 5-day package


    2) fill in the excel file (reservations.xls) that you find attached to
    the present message and send it back to us (    elisa.brandi@...).

    3) pay all the players fees by March 31st
    by transferring the money onto the bank account mentioned at item j)

    4) fax us the receipt of the payment by March 31st
    to confirm you transferred the money, stating clearly
    your  name and any other information for
    understanding which payment the fax is referring to.
    Fax number available at item j).
    You can also email us the jpg of the receipt.

    Please note that your reservations become definitive only when
    we get your fax-receipt: no receipt, no reservation.
    It is the payment that counts, not the simple excel sheet.
    Everything will be managed on a "first come, first served" basis.


    c) Deadlines----------------------------------------------------
    A) After March 31st
    (i.e.: we don't get your receipt by this day):

    -any payment will be penalized at a rate of 10% of each single player's fee.
    -a player withdrawing from the tournament will receive a refund of 75% of the player's fee paid.
    -any player can be replaced by another one without losing any money after proper communication of the names of the two persons involved.

    B) After April 7th
    (i.e.: if we don't get your receipt by this day):

    -any payment (including those made at the tournament) will be
    penalized at a rate of 30% of each single player's fee
    -we cannot guarantee to arrange accommodation anymore.
    -a player withdrawing from the tournament will
    receive a refund of 30% of the player's fee paid.
    In case this player has to drop out because of an injury,
    she/he will receive a refund of 50% of the player's fee paid.
    -it is not possible anymore to replace a player with another one.


    Important Details--------------------------------------------
    Freestyle option DONT includes "food&drink" tickets [each ticket is worth 1.4 Euro].

     Reservations will be accepted from the contact-person (thanks again!) only.

     We would be very grateful to you if you could pay all at once.
    This will make things easier for both you and us.
    If making one single payment is either too complicated or/and
    too expensive (e.g. you would have to collect money of
    people from different places), you can make different bank transactions,
    provided that we get a clear fax for each single transaction.
    But the excel file containing all your names and accommodation details
    must be one and one only! [see also item i)]

    Single rooms cost about 20% more (according to
    which specific hotel you want to stay) and are *very few*.
    If you need a single room, please ask us before making the reservation

    You can also specify which kind of room you want to
    sleep in (double, 3-bed, 4-bed, single).
    [you don't need to specify who wants to sleep with whom, but only (optional) the number of double/triple/etc. rooms you need]
    Double room means a room with a matrimonial bed.
    As general indication, the more multiple rooms (triples and quadruples) you need,
    (i.e. the less rooms you need for a given number of people), the more are the chances to stay in the requested hotel.
    Of course, a quadruple room is not as comfortable as a double.

    We cannot guarantee these specific requests will be satisfied, but we will do our best!
    The sooner you pay, the more are your chances to get exactly what you want.

    The hotels in Italy are not similar to American ones (example) where you can book a room and squeeze as many people as you want into it
    The hotels count how many people enter each room.
    You pay for the people, not for the rooms.

    Hotels falling under the same option are not exactly the same, but
    the differences are very slight.

    The four nights included in each accommodation option are:

    1) Thu (April 13th)-Fri
    2) Fri-Sat
    3) Sat-Sun
    4) Sun-Mon (April 17th)

    The fifth night included in the 5-day package is the Mon-Tue night

    On Monday night a big, last, farewell, got-nothing-to-lose 5th party is scheduled (included in the 5-day package) for
    the five-in-a-row people!

     Prices-------------
    Each option includes:

    - fee to play Freestyle International Competition> (9th Acrobatic Paganello)
     
    -4 days of top Fun, pure Sport, endless Spirit

    >From about mid-March until the end of April, the weather in Rimini is
    very changeable, so it can be cold at the end of April and hot one month before or vice versa.
    So, as usual, if you don't want to run any risk, a hotel with heating is recommended.


    We are trying to find a very basic hotel, but this is very difficult.
    This option (beds in hotel rooms, sleeping bag, hot water, without heating and without breakfast) would be about 160 Euro

    As announced in the Tournament Event Calendar (thanks Lui and Tom!!!), the Footbag and Disc Opening will take place as usual in the long weekend around May 1st (from Sat. April 29th to Mon. May 1st) in PODERSDORF (Austria, near the border with Hungary).

    Being 2 weeks after Paganello and 3 before the German Championship, it´s in a perfect date to bring us in full shape in our way to Berlin!

     

    Just have a look to the photos from last year to have a feeling about the spirit, which is pervading this big freestyle event: www.feelthespirit.net  (the text on the web page will be updated soon).

    This year event will be 3 days long. Thousands of people are expected to visit the event and, as it often happens, if the wind is not strong enough for the surfers, they´ll all crowd around our contest area, pushing us up with their cheers!!

     

    Most of the jammer attending to the past editions will be with us again, among them many new talents from Eastern European. This shows us that the hard work we put in this event is appreciated in the experienced ones and that it starts bringing results in our neighborhood!

     

    As usual we plan to have an Open Pair and a Single Intermediate division (so, if your are just a beginner, the Podersdorf is the perfect kickoff tournament for you!). According to the registrations it would be great to have also a Co-Op Division.

     

    In order to register, please send a mail to info@... (the online registration isn´t active yet) and check your flight soon, because there are still very interesting fairs (see below).

    Il Footbag e Disc Opening 2006 si terrà come sempre nel ponte del primo maggio (da sabato 29 Aprile a lunedì 1 Maggio) a PODERSORF (Austria, vicino al confine con l´Ungheria).

    2 Settimane dopo il Paganello e 3 prima del compionati tedeschi, fanno di Podersdorf un evento perfetto per entrare in forma per i mondiali FPA di Berlino!

     

    Guardate le foto dell´anno scorso per gustare lo spirito che pervade questo grande evento di puro freestyle: www.feelthespirit.net (i test della pagina verranno attualizzati tra poco).

    Quest´anno avremo 3 giorni pieni pieni di freestyle e, se come spesso accade, non ci sarà molto vento per i surfisti, le migliaia di spettatori si raccoglieranno attorno alla nostra piattaforma e ci faranno toccare le stelle coi loro applausi!!

     

    Molti dei frisbisti che sono venuti gli anni passati hanno già confermato la loro partecipazione. Tra loro ci sono anche molti talenti dell´east per i quili Podersdorf è l´unica possibilità di incontrarsi con la comunità frisbistica europea. Tutto questo ci rende particolamente felici, perché vuol dire che il duro lavoro che facciamo è apprezzato che che comincia a portare buoni frutti anche nella nostra zona!

     

    Come sempre ci sarà una divisione Open Pair e una Single Intermediate (per cui, anche se siete agli inizi come Freestyler, Podersdorf è il torneo perfetto per buttarsi!!). A seconda di quanti saremo, sarebbe bello riuscire a fare anche una Co-Op.
