Abstract text

The guideline "Measures of quality assurance for point-of-care testing
(POCT)" was developed for a university hospital. It covers the special
requirements of POCT together with the basic requirements of quality
management systems in the medical laboratory. As an example, the
guideline may help with the implementation of a POCT quality assurance
system in other hospitals.
