FIRST COURSE ON UFOLOGY AT
POPULAR UNIVERSITY ENDS
May 30 marks the end of what in all probability
was the first actual course on Ufology to take place
at a Popular University in Italy, held in Turin.
The course was led, for the whole 2002-03 Academic
Year, by Danilo Tacchino, who along with his class
was hosted in the rooms of the Physical Sciences
and Mathematics Faculty of the University of Turin,
for a run of approximately 30 lessons on "The True
History of Flying Saucers."
The last lesson in the course was led by Edoardo Russo
on "Techniques and Methodology for Interviewing Witnesses".

UFO FILMS MAKE THEIR TV DEBUT
Coinciding with the return to TV of Roberto Giacobbo, who
transferred to Raidue the old format of "Stargate" with his
new program "Voyager", the pay-TV platform of Tele+
Bianco is airing, beginning in the second half of May, the
first TV broadcasts of some recent movie pictures having
a UFO theme.
Debuting on the 18th was "K-Pax" (focusing on a psychiatric
patient who maintains that he is an alien); next up on the
25th is "The Mothman Prophecies" (from with the same-titled
UFO "cult"-diary of the ufologist John Keel); and waiting now
in the wings is "Signs" (which connects the appearances of
crop circles in fields with the beginning of an extraterrestrial
invasion), the latter also debuting on video.
[Collaboration by Dario Giacometto]
Collaborators on this edition were:
Dario Giacometto, Roberto Labanti,
Gildo Persone' and Danilo Tacchino.
