Pavia 2000: international congress The conference will focus on
the physical structure and life of the cultural built heritage
within the framework of Romanesque-Renaissance
architectural evidence from two historic Lombard towns: Milan
and Pavia Themes: The following topics will be
covered in the congress: - quarrying, processing
and petrophysical-mechanical characterization of the stones;
- morphological, material, architectural and historicaly surveys
of the monuments; - structural assessment and
preservation of the architectural heritage, as regard also to
